Liu Wenjun, director of the Management Committee of Xinxiang Economic Development Zone, said in his speech that as an important base of modern textile industry in Henan Province, the textile and garment industry has always been a key industrial cluster of over 100 billion yuan that Xinxiang City is focusing on building. First, leading enterprises have led to the formation of industrial chains and clusters. Key projects such as the pilot base for bio-based new materials and Longlu New Materials have been successively completed and put into operation, creating a cluster effect of industries. Second, technology empowerment opens up a new situation. Anchoring on the beautiful vision of reviving "Xinxiang Textile City", the subsequent large-scale projects of Juncao Fiber, Shousaier Fiber and Ruisaier Fiber are about to start construction. Academician Zhu Meifang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World introduced the innovative technology of lignin-based carbon fiber: through meltblown nonwoven processing and vacuum heat treatment optimization process, carbon fiber felt is made through pre-oxidation crosslinking and carbonization. The development of lignin-derived carbon nanotube fibers with a hollow structure, which have a tensile strength of 100GPa and possess both high electrical conductivity and flexibility, has broad application prospects in aerospace, wearable devices and other fields.


Liu Xin, director of the Industry Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, pointed out that in the face of external pressure and weak market demand, China's textile industry, relying on its full industrial chain advantages and diversified market layout, has shown resilience in exports and maintained basic production stability. However, issues such as increased fluctuations in some operational indicators and pressure on profits in most links of the industrial chain need to be paid attention to. In the future, the industry needs to enhance the resilience and risk-resistance capacity of its industrial chain to cope with the high uncertainty of the external environment.


Wu Wenjing, deputy secretary-general and director of the Information Department of the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, pointed out that the production, export and investment of China's chemical fiber industry have continued to grow, but there is pressure on profits. Looking ahead to the whole year, domestic policies will be implemented to boost the economy and create favorable conditions for the stable operation of the industry. However, the industry still faces problems such as intensified competition, pressure on demand, and an increase in trade frictions, which require the entire industry to unite and work together to address.


Hu Xinrong, the dean of the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence at Wuhan Textile University, shared the transformation path and core application scenarios of artificial intelligence technology driving the full-chain intelligence of the fiber industry from production to service, as well as the "technology-industry" value closed-loop transformation paradigm that has been formed.


Professor Hong Yan from Soochow University and CEO of Carlin, a French fashion and brand agency, in China, discussed how the fashion industry can drive reverse innovation in fiber materials.
